Explore the south of the border Baja aromatic herbal culture with the making of natural remedies for personal & skin care products, and herbal tonics; El Valle de Guadalupe’s organic wine tasting vineyards; 2 hot springs locations for soothing the soul; Ensenada’s charm for eating fresh sea food & microbrewed beer, health oriented restaurants & famous fish tacos; El Cannon de Guadalupe gathering popular therapeutic bentonite volcanic ashes; Tecate & La Rumorosa’s hikes on the mountains to collect crystals & to view the cave paintings “pinturas rupestres”.
During this seven day educational adventure circuit you will experience two aroma herbal temezcales, natural body exfoliants & facials with locally collected ingredients, Aromatic- infused Mexican healthy food demonstrations, the making of handcrafted spirits (dessert cordial), spinal awareness & body movements practice like yoga & meditative nature walks, basic aromatic aqua reflexology routine, basic properties and uses of seven aromatic oils with the making of natural personal care products, herbal incents, aromatic tobacco, & essence appreciation sharing circle to embrace your quest.
Day one: Exploring Tecate herbal shops at the Mercados, feasting at one famous taco stands, an herbal orientation and saluting the sunset with Qi Gong exercises with Itxchel and Brian, the founders of Escuela de La Madre Tierra. Day two: Adventuring La Rumorosa’s mountain by collecting some of the native plants & crystal from a cave, emerging into the Aromatic Temescal and enjoying a nourishing banquet of local fruits. Resting the evening with a banquet at the cabaña del Abuelo. Day three: Soothing at El Cannon de Guadalupe hot springs, learning the basic routine of aqua aromatic reflexology & gathering popular therapeutic bentonite volcanic ashes.
Day four: Enjoying Ensenada’s downtown charm, souvenir shopping, aromatic personal care demonstration & relaxing bay view from the bungalow.
Day five: Experiencing a tour of organic wine tasting & relaxing at a natural hot spring at the Valle de Guadalupe.
Day six: Embracing Tecate’s mountain by gathering some of the native plants, emerging into the Aromatic Temescal and enjoying a nourishing banquet of soups.
Day seven: Closure with the offering ceremony & a relaxing afternoon in Tecate’s La Puerta’s Spa.
Cost of trip is $1350, includes three meals a day, lodging with another person, all the material for the making of your three natural personal care products, an herbal tonic, a handcrafted spirits (dessert cordial), “The Manual of Essentials for Aromatic Natural Solutions”, seven bottles of 1/3 oz of most commonly used essential oils, and your daily doses of dark chocolate and 2 spirits (wine, beer, and/or cordial).
